For over 15 years, the IDEIA AMBIENTAL has carried out 34 projects, sponsored by 33 public and private institutions, national and international, and supported by 12 partners. Below we list the main projects developed and under development by the IDEIA AMBIENTAL.



INTEGRATIVE HEALTH PROGRAM IN SCHOOL
start: 2016 Term: 2018 Financing: ITAIPU
The program INTEGRATIVE HEALTH IN SCHOOL in partnership with NeoEthos Desenvolvimento Humano Sustentável was based on the principles of Lifestyle Medicine, Salutogenesis, Restorative Justice and Planetary Health. The program aims to develop salutogenic (health-generating) competencies, well-being and quality of life in the public school teachers of the 29 municipalities belonging to the Basin of Paraná 3 (BP3) and thus be able to act as promoters of integrative health (Healthy People + Healthy Relationships + Healthy Planet). In the period 2018-2019, the second phase of the Integrative Health Program in the School will be extended to another 25 municipalities of the Association of Municipalities of the West of Paraná (AMOP).

CONSERVING AND EDUCATING – PATHWAYS TO A NEW WORLD
start: 2003 Term: Financing: GRUPO INDEX
Conservation project located in the region of the Ribeira Valley and the coast of the State of Paraná that seeks to identify areas of high value for conservation, and transform them into Private Reserves of Natural Patrimony – RPPNS.



NATURE SOLIDARY
start: 2003 Term: Financing: MINISTRY OF THE ENVIRONMENT, PDA MATA ATLÂNTICA, CURITIBA DIOCESAN FUND, GRUPO INDEX
Volunteer Environmental Education Program that for 15 years served over 5,000 children and trained a dozen teachers in different cities of the State of Paraná. The program aims to promote EE in public and private schools as a complementary activity in the school counterpart.



ADOPT A YOUNG SCIENTIST
start: 2003 Term: Financing: GRUPO INDEX, PDA MATA ATLÂNTICA, MINISTRY OF THE ENVIRONMENT.
A project developed to encourage research in different areas of science and to promote the Sustainable Development of the planet. From the beginning, it counted on the support of public and private entities, that helped in the hiring of dozens of young researchers in distinct stages of its academic formation.



RPPN, A FUTURE INVESTMENT
start: 2006 Term: Financing: MINISTRY OF THE ENVIRONMENT, PDA MATA ATLÂNTICA, FOUNDATION SOS MATA ATLÂNTICA, GRUPO INDEX
Program with the objective of creating the most significant number of Private Reserves of Natural Heritage – RPPN in the Atlantic Forest Biome. Since its inception, the program has helped protect approximately 30,000,000 m2 of native forests in the most threatened biome in Brazil.



PRELIMINARY TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN CARBON PROJECT AT APA OF PRATIGI BAHIA STATE
start: 2012 TERM: 2012 FINANCING: N-SERVE (GERMANY), LAND CONSERVATION ORGANIZATION (OCT) AND ODEBRECHET FOUNDATION.
Analysis of the technical conditions for the application of an international carbon credits generation methodology (by VCS and CCBA) to the conservation project developed by the Odebrecht Foundation in the lowland region of the Bahia Atlantic Rainforest.


SURVEYS AND ANALYSIS ON THE SITUATION OF SOLID WASTE PLANS IN THE STATE OF PARANÁ
start: 2012 Term: 2013 Financing: MMA / OAS
This report addressed the study of the survey and diagnosis of the solid waste management situation in ten municipalities in the state of Paraná, Brazil. In order to know the vulnerability points of the municipalities to carry out more effective management.


TECHNICAL REVIEW FOR THE SECOND VALIDATION OF THE VCS METHODOLOGY VM0009 (AVOIDED ECOSYSTEM CONVERSION)
start: 2012 Term: 2012 Financing: DNV
Revision for the validation of the technical methodology for carbon credit generation related to the avoided conversion of natural ecosystems, within the Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS), the main methodological system of the voluntary carbon credits market.


SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF FOREST PLAN FOR THE STATE OF ACRE – THE NATIVE FORESTS
start: 2011 Term: 2012 Financing: BID
Technical assistance in the analysis of the technical conditions for the application of an international methodology for the generation of carbon credits (by the VCS and CCBA) for a future forest plan for the State of Acre.


CARBON FOOTPRINT STUDY (GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS INVENTORY X REDUCTION OF GRID ISSUING FACTOR) FOR TUMARIN HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT IN NICARAGUA
start: 2009 Term: 2010 Financing: NICARAGUA HYDROELECTRIC COMPANY (CHN)
Developing the greenhouse gas emissions inventory of the Tumarin Plant in Nicaragua by applying the World Bank (IFC) recommendations for greenhouse gas inventories in combination with the GHG Protocol.


CHARACTERIZATION AND DIAGNOSIS OF THE BIODIVERSITY OF PLANTS AND WILDLIFE OF VERTEBRATES IN FOREST CORRIDORS OF PROPERTY IN THE PRIORITY AREA OF THE ARAUCARY CORRIDOR, IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BITURUNA-PR.

A conservationist project aimed at increasing knowledge about local biodiversity, to support the implementation of the Araucaria Corridor of the Biodiversity Program of the State of Paraná.


INVENTORY OF AQUATIC BENTON INVERTEBRATES IN TWO RIDES OF RIO DOS TOUROS IN DIFFERENT STATES OF CONSERVATION.

A conservationist project aimed at increasing knowledge about the support capacity of the environment in the Rio dos Touros region, which would support future installations of biodiversity corridors.


INTEGRATED SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM IN CAMPINA GRANDE DO SUL
start: 2006 Term: 2007 Financing: PDA MATA ATLÂNTICA
The technical team of the IDEIA AMBIENTAL assisted the City HALL TEAM of Campina Grande does Sul to elaborate its Program of Integrated Management of Solid Wastefocusing on support for nature conservation.


FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS OF CDM PROJECTS FOR THE FOREST SECTOR
start: 2006 Term: 2006 Financing: GERDAU FLORESTA
Identification of concrete alternatives (technical and economic feasibility) for the implementation of CDM projects related to the forest area and carbonization of forest located in the States of Santa Catarina and Minas Gerais.


SURVEY OF THE POPULATION OF ARARA-AZUL (ANODORHYNCHUS HYACINTHINUS), IN THE STATE OF MATO GROSSO

Study of the Arara-Azul (Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus) population in the Pirigara Region, State of Mato Grosso, to determine guidelines for the conservation of the species, threatened with extinction.


DIAGNOSIS OF FAUNA AND FLORA IN THE CAJATI PLANT AREA, CAJATI / SP
start: 2006 Term: 2006 Financing: BUNGE FERTILIZANTES
Conservation project with the objective of performing the diagnosis of local fauna and flora, as a conservation measure for environmental licensing.


MANAGEMENT PLAN OF THE STATE PARK SERRA DE SANTA BÁRBARA IN THE STATE OF MATO GROSSO
Start: 2003 Term: 2005 Financier: NATIONAL ENVIRONMENT FUND / MINISTRY OF THE BRAZILIAN ENVIRONMENT.
A project carried out in partnership with the State Environmental Foundation – MT (FEMA-MT), park manager, and municipalities of Porto Esperidião and Pontes e Lacerda and local NGOs, which had the objective of conserving 120,092.11 hectares of an area located in the transition area between the cerrado and the Amazon Biome.




PROJECT “IN SEARCH OF THE CHAUÁ: OCCURRENCE ABUNDANCE ANDHABITAT CONDITIONS OT THE AMAZONA RHODOCORYTHA “
Start: 2004 Term: 2011 Financing: STRUNDEN-PAPAGEIEN-STIFTUNG (SPS) C / O ZOOLOGISCHE GESELLSCHAFT FÜR ARTEN- UND POPULATIONSSCHUTZ E. (ZGAP); AND PROGRAM THREATENED SPECIES – BIODIVERSITAS FOUNDATION – CEPAN – CEPF.
The objective of this study was to evaluate the presence of populations of the Papagaio Chauá (Amazona rhodocorytha) in the South of the State of Bahia, Espírito Santo, north of Rio de Janeiro, and to identify the main threats to the conservation of this species.


FLORISTIC AND PHYTOSOCIOLOGICAL SURVEY OF CERRO VERDE FARM, SÃO CRISTOVÃO DO SUL, SC
Start: 2004 Term: 2004 Financing: GERDAU FORESTRY.
Conservation project of a floristic and phytosociological survey of Fazenda Cerro Verde, São Cristovão do Sul, SC, as a conservationist measure for the purpose of maintaining FSC forest certification.


STUDY FOR MINIMIZING THE COSTS OF MAINTENANCE UNDER ENERGY DISTRIBUTION LINES.
Start: 2005 Term: 2007 Financing: P&D, COPEL, AND LACTEC.
The study aimed to develop conservation techniques that promote the minimization of maintenance costs of energy distribution lines and promote good conservation and economic practices.



PROJECT “CURRENT STATUS OF PATO MERGULHÃO (MERGUS OCTOSETACEUS VIEILLOT), IN THE STATE OF PARANÁ, SOUTH OF BRAZIL”
Start: 2005 Term: 2007 Financier: CONSERVATION DES ESPÈCES ET DES POPULATIONS ANIMALS (CEPA) AND ZOOLOGISCHE GESELLSCHAFT FÜR ARTEN- UND POPULATIONSSCHUTZ (ZGAP); AND PROGRAM THREATENED SPECIES – BIODIVERSITAS FOUNDATION – CEPAN – CEPF.
Conservationist Project that aimed to identify the presence of the Pato Mergulhão (Mergus octosetaceus) in the State of Paraná, an animal that had the status of extinct.


INVENTORY OF FAUNA IN THE BELA VISTA FARM, MUNICIPALITY OF BARRA DO TURVO, SP.
Start: 2006 Term: 2006 Financing: ARAUCO FORESTRY OF BRAZIL
Conservation project with the objective of performing the diagnosis of the local fauna, with the implementation of ecological brokers at Fazenda Bela Vista, as a conservationist measure to maintain FSC forest certification.


PROGRAM OF EVALUATION OF THE EFFICIENCY OF ECOLOGICAL CORRIDORS IN THE AREA OF HYDROELECTRICAL PLANTS RESERVOIRS OF SALTO OSÓRIO AND SALTO SANTIAGO, NA RIVER BASIN IGUAÇU, PR.
Start: 2004 Term: 2005 Financing: R & D TRACTEBEL ENERGIA E LACTEC.
A program developed in partnership with the Instituto Lactec, its to evaluate the efficiency of the ecological corridors from the point of view of biodiversity conservation; project located near the Salto Osório and Salto Santiago reservoirs in the Iguaçu River Basin.
